Voi safari Lodge

The lodge is situated in Tsavo East National Park, high above Voi town, offering a panoramic view of the park. Access the lodge by road. Drive from Nairobi to Mombasa, passing through Mtito Andei, and proceed to Voi. You will pass through the Manyani gate and have a short drive to the lodge. Alternatively, you can take your scheduled flight from Wilson Airport to the Voi airstrip, which takes 45 minutes, and then have a transfer to the lodge, which takes 20 minutes. Alternatively, book an SGR ticket and head to the VOI terminus, where you will be transferred to the lodge.

Accommodation and facilities

There are 52 interconnecting spacious standard rooms—all ensuit with a lounge and a working area. The rooms have an electric fan, shaver socket, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and flush toilets. The rooms are categorized into luxurious executive single, double, and a family room.

Voi Lodge features a well-ventilated and naturally bright conference room. It holds a pack of 30-50. The conference is accompanied by a technical team and a conference coordinator. The conference package includes mid-morning tea, a buffet lunch, a writing notebook, a bottle of mineral water, a projector, and a microphone.

Dining and cuisine

The lodge features an open-air restaurant that serves a variety of local and international cuisine, which offers guests a great view of the park. Their meal style is either buffet or a la carte. For guests participating in an entire game drive, they are typically given a packed lunch and enjoy a picnic, taking the opportunity to admire and photograph the surroundings. The lodge has 3 bars. The main bar is situated on the terraces, which is operational. The other bar is strategically located near the swimming pool, and lastly, the Hyrax bar is for private use.

Voi Safari offers an underground view, which is located nearest to the water hole where animals come to drink. You can strategically spot animals such as the Big Five: elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. The lodge offers morning and afternoon game drives, allowing visitors to explore great sites. Guests are taken to Mudanda Rock, a large, isolated rock formation above a dam where many elephants gather to drink water. A sundowner can be organized at the rock. Lugard Falls is a cascading rapid featuring a small waterfall on the Galana River, surrounded by lush green vegetation that makes the spot picturesque. It also offers a better view for spotting animals. Additionally, the pool is strategically positioned to allow guests to observe the animals in the plains easily.
