Man-eaters is situated in Tsavo, lying on the banks of the Tsavo River where the lion attacks occurred. The lodge is approximately 10 km from Tsavo East and 2 km from Tsavo West. Take an SGR train, which takes 3.5 hours, and head to Voi station, where you will later be transferred to the lodge. By road, it takes 5 hrs from Nairobi and 1 km from the Manyani gate.

The lodge comprises 31 en-suite tents and eight family rooms, which feature a king-size bed in both single and double rooms. The beds are four-poster with mosquito nets. There is also a wheelchair-friendly, easily accessible location near a bar, restaurant, and lounge. The tents are well-ventilated and spacious, featuring an en-suite bathroom, a tea/coffee maker, and verandas. Each tent also boasts
a balcony overlooking the river, two sunbeds, a side table, and two lounge chairs.
