7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS – NAIROBI / AMBOSELI / LAKE NAKURU / MASAI MARA

DAY 1: NAIROBI
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Internal Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel Check in and overnight. Accommodation on Bed & Breakfast Basis (BB).

 

DAY 2: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Amboseli National Park, via Emali. Arriving in time for lunch at your respective lodge / camp.

Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa outside of Chobe to view large herds of elephant, as well as being home to a large variety of other wildlife. One of the most notable attractions of the park is the opportunity for guests to meet and interact with local Maasai people, and learn about their way of life and culture. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Spend a full day in Amboseli National Park, with scheduled morning and late afternoon shared game drives. Amboseli National Park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, rewarding visitors with stunning views when the weather is clear.  The park is home to large herds of elephant, as well as affords guests great opportunities to see lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, and more. For the bird lover, there are 400 species to try and spot.

DAY 4: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The route will be through Nairobi, where you will have a brief stopover for lunch before proceeding to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Along the way, have a stopover at the Great Rift View Point which is a perfect spot for photography from the panoramic views of the escarpments. Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and refresh before embarking on game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.

Besides birdlife, Lake Nakuru is home to both white and black rhinos, leopards and baboons.

After afternoon game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Breakfast at the lodge / camp. Drive to Narok town and the Great Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.  The migration of wildebeests, the Big Five, and big cats may all be found at Masai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight at your respective lodge. There is an abundance of wildlife in the Masai Mara, including the Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos, wherever you go.

 

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Full day spent exploring this magnificent park. Masai Mara National Reserve is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of gazelle species. Regular sightings include cheetahs, leopards, and, less frequently, rhinos. One of the few surviving natural spectacles in nature, the annual wildebeest migration, takes place in the Mara from July to September. During this season, the large animals and their predators are expected to be in large numbers. A haven for birdwatchers, the Masai Mara National Reserve is home to more than 500 different species. From tiny sunbirds to colorful water birds like the Giant Kingfisher and Ross’s Turaco, it is home to a wide variety of birds, including the largest bird in the world, the ostrich. Additionally, the reserve provides fantastic chances to see raptors, such as vultures and different eagles.In addition to its fauna, the Maasai Mara is home to a large number of members of the vibrant Maasai tribe, who can be seen strolling across the plains as Morans (warriors), young boys herding goats, or elders gathering beneath a tree to discuss the day’s events.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI

After breakfast depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Lunch at a local restaurant.  Later drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight /or a city hotel.
