Description
Day 1: NAIROBI
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Internal Airport, you will be met by our representative and
transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel Check in and overnight. Accommodation on Bed &
Breakfast Basis (BB).
Day 2: NAIROBI – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is famous for its stunning black rhinos and a few white rhinos. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a game drive where you will have the opportunity to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and learn about the lives of orphaned chimps. You will get to see animals like Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, & Elephants.
Later, drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: OL PEJETA – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast you will proceed to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for check in and lunch. Later embark on an afternoon game viewing drive explore the reserve and spot animals like elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, Somali ostriches. You can also engage in other activities like guided nature walks, crocodile watching along the Ewaso Nyiro River, or a camel safari.
Dinner and overnight at your respective camp / lodge.
Day 4: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Begin with a morning game drive in Samburu, when wildlife is most active and you’re more likely to witness large cats making a kill. Track lions along the Ewaso Nyiro River and catch glimpses of leopards lazing among acacia trees. After a leisurely lunch, proceed for an afternoon wildlife drive with an optional cultural safari in Samburu, which includes an optional visit to a Samburu village for cultural interaction and storytelling about traditional ways of life centered on the Samburu people. Later drive back to the camp / lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: SAMBURU NATIONA PARK – ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the lodge / camp. Drive to Aberdares National Park. Arrive for lunch and check in at the
Aberdare Country Club with a later transfer to The Ark Lodge or drive directly to Treetops Lodge for check in and lunch. Guests spend the rest of the day
watching wildlife from the viewing decks at the lodge’s natural waterhole, frequented by giant
forest hogs, buffaloes, elephants, hyenas, Egyptian geese and the occasional leopard. The
waterhole is floodlit by night so that guests may see the nocturnal wildlife. Dinner and
overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 6: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Aberdare Country Club. Meet up with your driver guide and
drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for check in and lunch at your respective
hotel. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to Giraffes, Waterbucks, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalo,
Lions and Leopards, among other wildlife.
Later in the afternoon proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your
respective lodge / camp.
Day 7: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Breakfast at the lodge / camp. Drive to Narok town and the Great Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. The migration of wildebeests, the Big Five, and big cats may all be found at Masai Mara Nationa Park
l Reserve. Dinner and overnight at your respective lodge.
There is an abundance of wildlife in the Masai Mara, including the Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes,
zebras, and hippos, wherever you go.
Day 8: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Full day spent exploring this magnificent park. Masai Mara National Reserve is home to lions,
elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of gazelle species. Regular sightings include cheetahs,
leopards, and, less frequently, rhinos. One of the few surviving natural spectacles in nature, the
annual wildebeest migration, takes place in the Mara from July to September. During this
season, the large animals and their predators are expected to be in large numbers.
A haven for birdwatchers, the Masai Mara National Reserve is home to more than 500 different species.
From tiny sunbirds to colorful water birds like the Giant Kingfisher and Ross's Turaco, it is home to a wide variety of birds, including the largest bird in the world, the ostrich. Additionally, the reserve provides fantastic chances to see raptors, such as vultures and different eagles.
Meals and overnight at the Lodge / Camp on Full Board Basis (FB)
Day 9: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later
drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight /or a city hotel.
